• Corrected a bug that caused the "Always OP" flag to fail for certain parts
• Added the ability to move an Estimate to a Repair Order without first assigning a technician
• Added a new tab on the screen for the customer and RO attachments
• Added a new feature to automatically map new suppliers when using ISE
• Removed the default "None" value to the technician comments and customer complaints fields 
• Added enhanced formatting to the SMS detail report

Last night Omnique released version 4.2.4335 of our shop management software.  Included in this new release are the following features & fixes:

• Added a "cars" column to the Repair Order area on the Daily Ranking Report
• Added the Daily Sales Report to the Omnique Mobile Site
• Added a new tool to merge duplicate vehicles
• Added new reporting for the Service Advisers
• Corrected a bug when saving the Core value on some Estimates & Repair Orders
• Changed the Outside Purchase indicator on the Estimate & Repair Order screens to a single line
• Corrected a bug on the Invoice Register that caused some Invoices to display out of order
• Added the Last Service link to the Repair Order screen

Today Omnique introduces Version 4.2.  This version includes a new, smoother workflow, and a new integration to Epicor's (formerly Activant) Integrated Service Estimator which will provide Omnique users real time access to most part suppliers, including: Napa, O'Reilly, Carquest, AutoZone, & Worldpac.  Also included in v4.2 are:

• Streamlined Estimate, Repair Order, & Invoice Screens
• Direct integration with the Integrated Service Estimator, ISE
• Fixed a bug with the default Hours Paid value on some Estimates & Repair Orders
• Changed the Technician field to optional on Counter Sale tickets
• Added the Hours Paid to the Invoice Register
• Corrected a bug that caused some declined services to be displayed on the Inventory Movement Report
• Added the ability for users to define the height of the margin in the header on the Estimate, Repair Order, & Invoice Printouts
• Moved the header on the Estimate, Repair Order, & Invoice printouts to align with the logo
• Added a new permission so that owners can determine which users can accept credit cards
• Added a Default Technician field that allows a technician to be pre-assigned for an Estimate or Repair Order

In preparation for the October 2011 4.2 release Omnique Shop Management Software today released v4.1. While most of new release is "behind the scenes”, there are some new visible changes available today.  Among the new features you’ll see today are:

• Improved Customer Phone Number Searching
• Corrected the Hours Report to eliminate the inclusion of certain Declined Services
• Updated SMS taglines
• Corrected a bug on the Zip Code Report
• Added mouse scroll wheel compatibility for the Firefox & Chrome browswers 
• Added an alert for "Non-Working Days"
• Added a selection to include previously included receiptients of marketing campaigns
• Includes Phase 1 of the QuickBooks integration feature
